New Met Office warning for Lancashire as Storm Ellen fears grow

Areas of Ribble Valley could experience mass flooding as a weather warning for rain has been issued, leading to fears of a third storm that could be set to hit the UK.
Storm Ciara had a major impact on the district and while Storm Dennis brushed past parts of the Ribble Valley. The rest of the UK certainly felt the impact.
The new yellow weather warning, issued by The Met Office, is in place between 6pm on Wednesday (February 19th) and 3pm on Thursday (February 20th).
As a result of the conditions, The Met Office say that local homes and businesses may be flooded, there is a chance of delays to traffic and some roads may even be flooded to a point of closure.
